Commissioned by the Lyme Runner

This week saw a nice, if a little different, commission for Wallop. I was contacted by Angela Coulombe, otherwise known as The Lyme runner with the great news that she has been accepted to run in this years New York Marathon. Angela has suffered with Lyme disease and now runs to raise awareness of this debilitating condition. I do like an odd challenge from time to time, so have undertaken the project of creating a brand for The Lyme Runner to appear across Angela’s marketing campaign and for her to wear on her marathon Tshirt. Here’s the first attempt at a ticked off tick – Angela has requested a caricature of herself being chased by an angry tick – truly a bizarre illustration commission! (It almost beats last years commission to draw a series of Scuba Diving badgers for the Archaeological Divers Association….)
